On Wednesday 19 September we will visit the Graphic Design Festival Breda lectures instead of the VISINF_S lessons. There are about twenty interesting lectures, many are relevant for this minor. The school will provide day tickets for Wednesday. The sessions are from 12h30 - 14h30 and 15h00 - 17h00.
Check the lecture schedule for more details and choose the most inspiring sessions. For the minor I would certainly recommend the lecture of Clever-Franke. Theye make very interesting visualisations, based on weather data.
You are all expected to attend; we have already paid for the tickets. Come to me if you still don't have one.
After the lectures the lecturers are available from 18h30 - 19h15 to meet a number of students to discuss your individual portfolios. This is a great chance to get feedback from a professional on your work. Register first for the portfolio session before 19 September at simone@graphicdesignfestival.nl
With the day ticket, you can also enter the MOTI [Graphic Design Museum] for free on Wednesday. All the other festival venues are free of charge any time.
Make sure to chek out the workshops in the mornings: for 5 euro you can experiment with letter printing or learn about poster lay-outs by deconstruction.
