Assignment 1: Print infographic

Visualize the NY Times article about the extinction of species.
Use as many relevant aspects from this text as necessary for a proper understanding of the topic. Use additional information if you wish.

This assignment focuses on:
- Combining various variables and dimensions in one image
- Choosing relevant forms of representation
- Applying graphical design principles [typography, form, style, visual hierarchy, abstraction, symbols, lay-out, colours, media use, formats, form semantics]
All text in both the infograpics should be in English.

Upload the poster and the smaller version to the blog BEFORE Monday 17 Sept.
Bring prints of both infographics to the assessments on Tuesday the 18th.
