Assignment 3: Physical information representation

With a group of three students you will make a physical representation of the periodic table of elements. The added third dimension allows for more information variables than the regular periodic system. You should thus develop an alternative configuration to explain the differences between the various elements.

The model should use at least five different variables. It should only be understandable as a spatial model, which means that it is impossible to visualize it in one image.

You will present your findings to the group, explaining why it cannot be put in a single image. Then you will develop and build a spatial, physical installation.
All explanations should be in English.
